  • Buying Property

    With over 20 years experience looking after Purchasers, we can guide you through the process from start to finish. We encourage you to contact us to obtain some legal advice before you sign a contract. Whether you are a first home buyer or pensioner down-sizing we will advise you on all duty exemptions and government grants available to you to ensure that you don’t miss out!

    If you are obtaining finance we will liaise with your mortgage broker/lender to ensure that your finance application is dealt with as efficiently as possible and that your lender is ready to settle on the scheduled settlement date.

    We will tell you what you need to do when you need to do it and pride ourselves on great communication so that you always know what is going on!

  • Selling Property

    If you are selling, we encourage you to contact us for advice before you list or at the very least before you sign a contract. We can offer advice on unapproved works to your property and ensure you are protected and your sale proceeds smoothly.

    If you have a mortgage we will assist with arranging a ‘discharge of mortgage’ from your bank or lender and will regularly follow then up to ensure they will be ready to settle on the scheduled date. We will also liaise with your estate agent to ensure that they are properly informed at key stages of your transaction.

    We will prepare the relevant transaction certificates, and if you can’t come to us to sign the settlement documents, we can arrange a home visit to you or provide some alternative options that suit your busy lifestyle.

  • Subdivisions and Boundary Adjustments

    Are you subdividing or realigning boundaries with a neighbour? We can assist with preparation of the Schedule of Easements arrange for production of your certificate of title (including applying for your Bank’s consent to the subdivision or boundary adjustment).

    If you are strata titling we can also draft your Strata By-Laws, tailoring these to your needs. We will also liaise with your surveyor and council on all legal requirements to make sure everything proceeds smoothly. Call us today to find out how we can assist you.

  • Property Transfers

    Are you a parent and wish to transfer a family shack to your children? Or perhaps you wish to transfer all of your assets to your spouse or a family trust for protection? We can help. Give us a call or drop us an email with the details of what you wish to do and we will advise on the stamp duty payable and any legal implications. We can prepare all of the paperwork, arrange for stamp duty assessment and lodge the Transfer at the Land Titles Office on your behalf.

  • Aged Care/Retirement Village Leases and Agreements

    Are you or perhaps a family member moving into an aged care or retirement village? Don’t understand the mountain of paperwork and need advice?     We can assist with all leasing whether it be commercial, retail or residential. We can prepare the Lease, or if you are the Tenant, we can provide advice on a Lease prior to signing. Where required we can also provide a Solicitors Certificate for Retail Leases following our advice. We can also provide advice on your existing lease if required.

  • Sale and Purchase of Business

    We can assist in all types of sales and purchases of business, whether it be a pharmacy, coffee shop

    or laundromat we can help! From initial advice through to preparation of the Contract and

    settlement we can guide you through all of the steps and provide advice along the way. The

    purchase or sale of a business can be a stressful time and we understand that all businesses are

    different! We will consult with your accountant or business broker to ensure all bases are covered

    and that the transaction proceeds as smoothly as possible.

  • Powers of Attorney

    Are you heading overseas and need to appoint someone to look after your property and financial

    affairs while you are away? Not sure whether you need to appoint an attorney? We are

    experienced in preparing a valid Power of Attorney and organising its registration at the Land Titles

    Office. If you need to revoke a previous power of attorney, we can organise this for you as well.
